The nose is nicely complex, elegant, dense/concentrated and offers deepness as well as richness. It reveals notes of wild blueberry, pulpy purple plum and small notes of blackcurrant associated with touches of fresh small blue fruits, graphite, sense of place (local biotop), almost sappy as well as discreet hints of black tea/maceration and a very discreet hint of clove. The palate is mineral, racy, juicy, fresh, elegant, well-balanced, precise, chiseled, concentrated and offers an acidulous frame, salinity, a beautiful definition as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, cornflower and small notes of bright blueberry associated with touches of Madagascar pepper, cardamom as well as a discreet hint of graphite. A very discreet hint of cardamom and toasted / almost blond tobacco in the background. Beautiful texture and very nice sapidity on the persistence.
