The nose is aromatic, elegant, fine, delicate and racy. It reveals notes of wild cassis, boysenberry and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with slight hints of acidulous redcurrant candy, flowers as well as discreet hints of spices, liquorice, Sichuan red pepper, oak and camphor. The palate is fruity, elegant, gourmand, beautifully balanced and offers a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful definition as well as a slight acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy boysenberry, fleshy / juicy raspberry and small notes of blueberry, plum associated with slight hints of caramelization, vanilla bourbon, lilac as well as very discreet hints of sweet spices. Good length and persistence. Tannins are well-built and elegant. There are very discreet hints of dark chocolate and almond on the finish / persistence. A great wine full of finesse!
