The nose is gourmand and offers a slight sensation of sweetness. It reveals notes of Granny apple, fine hints of peach / pear and discreet hints of lemon / orange zest associated with a discreet hint of cigar, cedar wood, cereals as well as discreet hints od toasted oak and with a slight earthy hint. The mouth is fruity, fat, round, a bit aerial and offers tension as well as a fine / nice balance. On the palate, this Whiskey expresses notes of crushed / compoted pear, candied lemon and slight hints of dry apricot / physalis combined with a discreet hint of caramelisation, cedar wood, a hint of flowers as well as a subtle hint of smoke, nougatine and gray pepper (discreet). The finish is suave. Good length and nice aromatic persistence.
