The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers a savoury and fragrant spiciness (nutmeg, white pepper, licorice), associated with a fine floral bouquet (lily, rose, dried peony), a hint of torefaction (toasted almond) and aromatic herbs (mint wild, rosemary, tobacco), wrapped in a juicy fruitiness (crunchy strawberry, crushed raspberry, blueberry, a touch of morello cherry and blackcurrant), combined with a touch of dark chocolate. The palate is tasty, very fragrant, with pronounced flavors of sweet spices. It expresses notes of fresh strawberry, red currant jelly, crushed raspberry, juicy cherry, wild blueberry, as well as liquorice, nutmeg, cloves, ground cumin, wilted rose in the background), dried peony, lily, rosemary and dried mint. At the end of the mouth, we also find a fine powdery hint of bitter cocoa and a touch of chocolate with mint. The tannins are very fine, melted, but with a firm structure. Beautiful persistence and salivating acidity. A complex and balanced wine.
