Livia Fontana – Riserva Bussia 2012 – Barolo

The nose offers notes of ripe cherry, crushed red berries and a small notes of elderberry combined with a touch of blackberry, balsamic as well as hints of fresh leather, ripe wild strawberry, nutmeg, tobacco, very discreet hints of minerality, undergrowth, blond tobacco and an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, precise and offers a suavity suavity, a mineral frame, a beautiful guideline, precision, a good structure, gourmandise as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry and small notes of elderberry combined with small touches of ripe red fruits (cherry, red berries), hints of tonka bean, muscat, spices as well as a discreet hint of caramelization and an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper.
