The nose offers a fine power, a fine freshness as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, small berries and more slightly cassis bud, crunchy strawberry associated with a hint of cherry as well as fine hints of spices and a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers fat, a good definition, tension, minerality, an acid frame, dynamism as well as a very fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry and more slightly fleshy wild raspberry associated with fine/discreet touches of small ripe red fruits, racy minerality (gravels/Graves) and spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
