Very savory and developing in style, especially for a zinfandel. Spices, leather, tobacco, dust and earth are the main aromas of this exclusive and surprising wine. There’s an unparalleled clarity concerning the aromas, like a very well-defined picture. On the palate, the wine is more fruit-forward with extremely concentrated bramble berries, blueberry and a tingling wet stone character. It’s definitely opulent and chewy, but the bright acidity stops it from feeling overly heavy. The structure is as defined as the aromas with a very decent finish.
