The nose reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and slight notes of cassis bud combined with hints of sweet spices, toasted oak as well as a discreet touch of vanilla and cocoa (very discreet). The palate is fruity, relatively gourmand, fat, a bit powerful and offers a good definition, volume and a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of boysenberry and cassis combined with fine notes of cherry, raspberry and hints of toasted oak, vanilla and a discreet touch of cardamom. Tannins are fine and supple. Good length.
