Lidio Carraro – Da’ Divas 2015 Chardonnay – Encruzilhada Do Sul, Brasil

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a certain tension / straightness. It reveals notes of ripe nectarine, crunchy apple and small notes of quince associated with slight hints of small yellow fruits, quenette / exotic fruits, minerality and a discreet hint of citrus. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, well-built, precise, slightly gourmande and offers fluidity, suavity, a small acid frame as well as a small dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quenette, crunchy nectarine and small notes of quince associated with slight touches of juicy mirabelle plum as well as hints of exotic fruit tips and discreet hints of tangerine. There is an imperceptible toasted hint on the finish / persistence.
