The nose is harmonious, tight-knit and offers a certain power of grain. The wine needs to be decanted. There are notes of fresh blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and, more slightly, violet, combined with hints of fresh spices and a mineral, nutmeg and earthy touch. The palate is gourmet and offers a nice creamy/juicy fruit, freshness, minerality, finesse, roundness as well as a certain creaminess in freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackcurrant, tart/juicy blackberry and more slightly strawberry combined with hints of juicy plum, violet, camphor as well as a fine floral/varietal touch and chocolate.
