On the nose, fruity, elegant and offers some delicate power precision, freshness and harmony. It reveals notes of pulpy boysenberry, bright blackcurrant and hints of violet associated with touches of pulpy blue berries, crushed strawberry as well as fine points of zan, star anise, fresh blond tobacco, a subtle hint of toast and an imperceptible hint of cuban pepper. On the palate, fruity and offers freshness, minerality, juiciness, acidity, precision, a little tension, a fine grain, gourmandize, depth, a little concentration and a nice bright and fresh fruit. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy black cassis, bright raspberry and hints of pulpy/juicy red currant combined with touches of dark berries, lily, tonka bean/mocha and a discreet hint of cardamom and roasted hazelnut. The tannins are precise and finely mellow. Subtle hints of black tea and vanilla on the finish/persistence.
