L’Escaderie 2022 – Fronsac

The nose offers minerality, fruit as well as a fine alcoholic hint. It reveals notes of black cherry, pulpy strawberry and small notes of graphene associated with touches of balsamic as well as discreet hints of cornflowers and pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality, a good definition, suavity as well as a nice juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, pulpy/juicy cassis and small notes of plum associated with touches of cornflower, star anise as well as a hint of Cubeb pepper and a very discreet almost sage hint. Good length. A hint of cocoa in the background.
