Les Vignes Oubliées – Autour du Cinsault 2019 – Languedoc

The nose is fruity and offers a fine racy minerality, a small chiseled side, power, intensity as well as power. It reveals notes of violet, blueberry, small notes of bigarreau cherry associated with small touches of wild strawberry, small wild red fruits as well as hints of fresh liquorice stick, discreet hints of black olive, spices and an imperceptible hint of pink laurel (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, elegant, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, an aerial side, richness (full of balance), a very beautiful delicate/unctuous touch, a beautiful fine grain and a beautiful acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, pulpy/fleshy blueberry, small notes of crushed wild strawberry associated with small touches of small fleshy wild red fruits, violet, lilac as well as fine hints of spices, sugared mild tobacco, discreet hints of hazelnut and a subtle hint of chocolate. Good length. Tannins are elegant and well-built. An unctuous wine, full of delicacy, finesse and balance.
