(60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon): Medium deep ruby color. The nose is warm, ripe and gourmand. It expresses notes of fresh black fruits (blackcurrant, black plum), crushed and candied red fruits (crushed strawberry, red cherry jam), accompanied by a sweet touch of blackcurrant cream and a very subtle note of chocolate in the background. On the second nose, we also see the aroma of Tagada strawberry, associated with the freshness of chocolate with mint. On the palate, the wine is round, gourmand, with grainy tannins, but not drying in the mid-palate. We find ripe and slightly tart black fruits (blackcurrant, black plum, morello cherry), sweetness of strawberry, as well as light herbaceous notes (blackcurrant leaf) and a touch of pepper. The finish is tight, tannic, with a slight bitterness. A firm wine, but quite accessible.
