The nose offers fruit, minerality as well as good definition. The wine benefits from decanting. We find notes of black cherry, violet and small red berries associated with touches of graphene, fresh clove and discreet hints of cardamom. The palate is well-built, supple, juicy and offers a pulpiness, freshness, good definition as well as a tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy Morello cherry, violet and more lightly, blackberry, associated with touches of pulpy cassis, rhubarb as well as a hint of toastiness, nutmeg and toasted almond. Good length. A hint of cherry pit and racy minerality on the finish.
