On the nose, elegance, distinguish, offering potency (in delicacy), concentration (in mastery), intensity and a nice definition. Notes of bright wild blackcurrant, raspberry and slightly grey pepper associated with touches of violet plum, racy/terroir minerality as well as fine points of morello cherry, licorice stick, discrete points of cardamom and spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, a certain gourmandize, a fine acidic framework as well as minerality and freshness. On the palate, expressing notes of pulpy/juicy/fresh raspberry, crushed blackberry and more slightly cherry associated with touches of blue berries and a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut. Good persistance. The tannins are precise, elegant, well-mannered, finely smooth.
