The nose is fruity and reveals gourmandize, spice, a certain delicacy (in richness), and elegance. There are notes of creamy blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and, more slightly, spices combined with delicate touches of pulpy blue berries, blueberry as well as fine notes of star anise, cardamom, a discreet touch of bourbon vanilla and a subtle hint of bergamot/infusion. The palate is fruity, elegant and offers pulpiness, a little creaminess with freshness, a nice straightness/small rigidity but with charm, a nice freshness, a fine precise crunch, and roundness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, blueberry combined with hints of lily, nutmeg, cardamom as well as a subtle hint of star anise, a discreet hint of cranberry, a subtle hint of toastiness, fresh chocolate. The tannins are soft and gourmet. Subtle minerality on the finish/persistence.
