On the nose, fruity with minerality, subtle intensity, a fine texture and a certain depth. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy garriguette strawberry and nuances of bourbon vanilla combined with hints of violet, bursting berries and subtle hints of star anise, black tea, refined minerality, discreet nuances of cuben pepper and a subtle hint of torrefaction. On the palate it is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition as well as a certain power/tension (in finesse), mastery, balances airy side and a lingering finish. The wine expresses notes of small bright red currants and hints of pulpy/juicy raspberry associated with touches of violet, lilac, fresh blond tobacco, discreet hints of dark chocolate, black tea, fresh hazelnut, and a fresh varietal. The tannins are precise and slightly mellow. A very discreet chewiness on the persistence.
