Les Remparts de Ferrière 2018 – Margaux

The nose is elegant, fine and offers a small power as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet, lilyand small notes of small pulpy fruits associated with fine hints f violet plum, pistil, liquorice and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers an acidulous frame, a beautiful definition, precision, tension and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis bright blackberryand small notes of cherry associated with small touches of lily, pistil as well as fine hints of spices, a discreet hint of pepper, an imperceptible hint of toasted and a subtle varietal hint (in the background). Tannins are very discreetly marked.
