Les Pensées 2024 – Pomerol

Lovely spicy nose, sincere, frank which offers spices as well as a lovely freshness/depth. Nice finesse and delicacy in the power of the grain. There are notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and small notes of bright Bigarreau cherry, associated with touches of blueberry, fleshy/juicy cherry, as well as fine hints of smoke and toastiness (discreet and delicate). The palate is nicely mineral, textured, deep, delicate, harmonious and offers a certain intensity in accuracy, velvety and a melodious side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy black cherry, violet plum and small notes of small brilliant blue fruits, combined with a touch of crushed raspberry, hints of tonka bean, sweet tobacco, as well as a hint of roasted almond, as well as lovely hints of cinnamon/sweet spice (broad palette). The tannins are mellow, elegant, fresh and melodious. A very discreet hint of almost warm sap in the background. Sincerity, depth, velvety and finesse.
