Les Pensées 2022 – Pomerol

The wine needs to be put in carafe. The nose is elegant, intense and fine. It reveals notes of clove, blackberry and small notes of spices combined with touches of tobacco, cardamom and a hint of graphene. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity, mineral, beautifully built, supple and offers fat, roundness, a beautiful pulpy side, energy, a lovely guideline, accuracy, mellowness, gourmandise, finesse and a lace side. Full of precision and finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, pulpy/juicy violet plum and small notes of roasted-elegant cherry associated with touches of fresh small fruits, hints of violet, lilac as well as discreet almost sage hints, sense of place (local biotope), a hint of coffee, toast, delicate Bourbon vanilla and a nice hint of coffee/roasting on the finish/persistence. Presence of a subtle almost sappy hint/fresh flowers/fresh sage in the background. A delicate, fresh, sincere and airy wine.
