The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acid frame, a beautiful tension, fullness, a good definition, a fine gourmandize, a fine racy minerality as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crushed cassis, ripe red berries and black cherry associated with fine touches of iris, cherry, liquorice, tonka bean/chocolate, caramelized oak as well as subtle hints of spices. Good length. There are fine touches of tonka bean/cocoa bitter on the finish/persistence.
