The nose is aromatic, slightly powerful and offers concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and Sichuan pepper associated with slight touches of spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, juicy, well-balanced, straight, precise / clean and offers a nice definition, a nice tension, finesse, fleshiness as well as a nice richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry and blackberry combined with touches of raspberry, ripe / crushed redcurrant as well as slight touches of liquorice, toasted oak, slight touches of chocolate and discreet / imperceptible touch of almond / caramelization. Tannins are fine, a bit firm and very slightly dry. There is a discreet hint of coffee on the finish.
