The nose is elegant, airy and offers a certain intensity as well as a little power. We find notes of violet, brilliant red berries and small notes of crushed cassis associated with touches of almost menthol, pepper and a discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, elegant, gourmand and offers a lovely minerality/definition, a fine, elegant darkness as well as depth. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy boysenberry, pulpy /brilliant redcurrants and small notes of violets associated with fine, almost mentholated hints of graphene and small juicy/pulpy fruits. The tannins are mellow and finely graphene. The finish is finely chalky, even discreetly powdery.
