It expresses notes of blackberry, star anise and more slightly – violet associated with touches of small roasted red fruits, as well as hints of small juicy/ripe black berries, hints of blond tobacco and a subtle hint of toasted almond. The palate is juicy, mineral and offers gourmandise, tension, a certain straightness, a stretched/frank side, purity, juiciness. It expresses notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, blueberry and more slightly – morello cherry associated with touches of pulpy/bright raspberry, small dense/juicy/fresh black fruits, as well as hints of mocha, toasted , and grilled/roasted tips. Nice minerality and freshness. A nice grain and a textured side. Beautiful minerality. A fine hint of good bitterness background/persistence, which gives pep and length.
