The nose is fresh, fruity and offers concentration as well as crunchiness. It reveals notes of crunchy blackberry, cassis and small notes of red fruit combined with touches of tonka bean / cocoa as well as discreet toasted hints and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a beautiful juicy / slightly acidulous frame, suavity, a great precision, aromatic purity, gourmandise as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of grilled / cocoa associated with touches of red fruits as well as a varietal hint, liquorice and a very discreet hint of almond on the finish. A very fine chew on the finish. There is very fine hint of chocolate truffle on the persistence.
