The nose is fresh, aromatic and slightly concentrated. It reveals notes of cassis, cornflower and more slightly blackberry, juicy wild berries associated with a hint of red fruit, spices as well as a subtle hint of black pepper, liquorice and an imperceptible hint of almon. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acid frame, a small tension as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, juicy black berries and more slightly crunchy red berries associated with touches of liquorice, spices as well as discreet hints of oak and a subtle hint of cocoa on the finish. Tannins are well-built. Good persistence.
