The nose is fresh, fruity. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, crushed strawberry and small notes of violet, liquorice associated with fine touches of griotte as well as fine hints of Badiane, a very discreet hint of toasted and an imperceptible hint of roasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, tension as well as a bright/ripe fruit, a small unctuosity and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, bright griotte cherry and small notes of ripe wild red fruits as well as hints of badian, liquorice, fine hints of caramelization, toasted and an imperceptible hint of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are precise and slightly firm. A very discreet hint of crushed ripe almond on the aftertaste.
