Les Griffons de Pichon Baron 2024 – Pauillac

The nose is aromatic and offers spices, fine straightness and a certain creaminess. There are notes of boysenberry, violet and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of elegant-roasted wild strawberry, fairly ripe red cherry, as well as fine hints of sweet spice and nutmeg. The palate is well-built, fresh, taut, precise and offers a certain straightness and precision. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/fresh cassis and small notes of juicy-roasted cherry, combined with touches of lilac, star anise, hints of cornflower, as well as fine hints of cardamom, mocha and racy gravel. The tannins are finely mellow, precise and clean. A subtle hint of almost incense. An infusion/darkness in freshness side. The finish is finely chalky.
