Les Griffons de Pichon Baron 2024 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is well-built, fruity, gourmand and offers brightness. There are notes of bright vine peach, brilliant apple and small notes of ripe kumquat, associated with a subtle hint of bright medlar. A saline hint and a subtle hint of ripe-sweet citrus/zest. The palate is well-built, fresh, acidulous and offers a nice energy, an acidulous frame, a nice grain, a nice racy side as well as a certain roundness. A tannic side in the structure and aromatic. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh quenette, bright flat peach and small notes of fresh flowers, combined with fine hints of white flowers, pink lychee, as well as a hint of almost medlar, apricot blossom and a subtle hint of exotic fruit (very discreet, in the background). Good persistence.
