Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2023 – Saint-Julien

A lovely fruity, fresh, aromatic nose, with lovely definition, tension, lovely precise grain, complexity, freshness. It expresses elegant notes of graphite, violet and more slightly – pulpy blackberry, small fresh/pulpy red berries associated with touches of fresh camphor, fresh saffron as well as fine hints of cornflower, zan and gravel. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity, fresh, mineral, balanced and offers a tangy frame, accuracy, tension, suppleness, energy, sparkle. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, ripe/bright raspberry and more slightly – small bright red berries, violet as well as hints of gravel, toast, tobacco. A lovely little softness and sapidity on the finish/persistence. Lovely freshness, brightness and juiciness, a tangy structure, a little creaminess on the finish/persistence. A very lovely savouriness and mellow touch.
