It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and liquorice associated with subtle hints of redcurrant, fine notes of spices as well as discreet hints of flowers, toasted, vanilla and a hint of racy minerality/flint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful freshness, a small fat, a fine concentration as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and more slightly juicy wild strawberry, fresh raspberry associated with fine touches of toasted oak, liquorice as well as a subtle hint of chocolate (in the background), oak and a very discreet hint of nut on the finish. Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. Good length.
