Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2010  – Saint-Julien

The nose is aromatic, quite elegant and offers deepness. It reveals notes of violet and slight notes of cassis associated withslight notes of red fruits (strawberry…), discreet hints of blueberry/plum as well as hints of Sichuan pepper. The palate isfruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acid frame, a slightminerality as well as a slight suavity. In the mouth this wineexpresses notes of cherry, redcurrant and slight notes of blackberry associated with hints of cassis as well as slighttouches of sweet spices and a very discreet hint of freshberries. Tannins are fine and very slightly firm/racy. Good length. There is a slight touch of salinity on the finish.
