The wine has a beautiful deep ruby color. The nose is fresh and discreet with notes of juicy cherry and black pepper. There are some subtle hints of rose potpourris in the background. The second nose opens with more intensity on blackberry, juicy black cherry, and a hint of mint. The palate is fresh, tangy on the attack with a slight perlance. There is a nice refreshing acidity and crisp red berries like redcurrant, strawberry, and small juicy red cherry. A fresh and juicy style with a hint of violet and pepper. The tannins are present, gripping until the finish on blackberry, black cherry, and a touch of vanilla caramel. Interesting. The finish is long.
