Les Confidentiels du Château Petit Boyer – Cuvée Paloma 2021 – Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose reveals fruit, freshness and power. There are hints of pulpy strawberry, blackcurrant and slightly plump/chunky cherry combined with hints of violet, cherry blossom and hints of liquorice, toasted almond and a discreet hint of sappy. The palate is fruity and reveals minerality, acidity, energy and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of tart raspberry, fresh/acidic red berries and a hint of blackcurrant combined with a touch of violet plum, liquorice and a hint of camphor, a hint of sappy/almost cypress and a subtle touch of nutmeg.
