The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers a certain complexity, concentration, even a sensation of texture. It expresses notes of ripe morello cherry, roasted red cherry, crushed strawberry, dried blackcurrant, blackberry and prunes (in the background), as well as dried mint, a hint of violet, rose, white pepper, liquorice and toast. After aeration, we also feel a delicate bitter touch of cocoa. The palate offers an airy and tangy side, as well as lightness. It expresses notes of fresh strawberry, tangy bigarreau cherry, morello cherry, bird cherry with a tannic and bitter touch, as well as dried red cherry and dried blackcurrant, associated with notes of dried mint, cocoa (in the background) and dried rose. The tannins are fine, but marked and grippy. The finish is tangy, salivating, with a good bitterness and medium persistence.
