The nose is fruity, aromatic, finely tight and offers intensity as well as a small concentration and a small dense/dark side. It reveals notes of small crushed/ripe black fruits, crushed cassis, small notes of small juicy/pulpy blue fruits associated with touches of violet, cornflower, liquorice as well as discreet hints of chocolate (in the background) and black tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, an acidulous frame, a good definition as well as a fine tension, juiciness and a dark/dense side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of small crushed black berries, cocoa, crushed cassis, small notes of lily associated with touches of small juicy/pulpy fruits, camphor/incense, cardamom, fine hints of toasted and a discreet hint of toasted almond. Good length. Tannins are structuring.
