L’Eclat de Valentin 2020, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 

On the nose, fruity and offers delicacy, power and control. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, ripe crushed blackberries and hints of violet associated with touches of nutmeg, fine touches of fresh/juicy berries and fine wafts of gray pepper. On the palate it is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandize, controlled richness and a certain creaminess and freshness. The wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cassis, violet and hints of pulpy/juicy blueberries associated with touches of strawberry as well as touches of cornflower, licorice stick, roasted hazelnut, and wafts of chocolate and bourbon vanilla. The tannins are precise and well developed. Good length. A fine / balanced bitterness on the finish / persistence.
