L’Eclat de Valentin 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and offers certain power as well as some concentration. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, pulpy blackberry and slightly gray pepper associated with touches of raspberry as well as a hint of graphite, small blue fruits and discreet hints of zan. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity a tangy frame, a certain sparkle of the fruit, concentration, power as well as a fine texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild cassis, bright Boysenberry and more slightly bright raspberry associated with touches of lilac, cornflower, graphite, fine hints of pepper as well as a subtle hint of vanilla and blond tobacco. Good length.
