The nose is fruity, ripe, racy, slightly concentrated and slightly tight. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, garrigue and ripe red fruits combined with touches of racy minerality, forest soil, blueberry as well as slight hints of sweet spices, nutmeg and an imperceptible touch of olive (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral, juicy, well defined, suave, silky and offers dynamism, a slight acid frame, gourmandise as well as a slight minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, juicy / crushed wild strawberry and small notes of blueberry, plum associated with a hint of redcurrant, olive, garrigue / olive tree as well as discreet hints of chocolate and toasted / caramelized oak. Tannins are well-built and very slightly firm. Beautiful grain on the finish. Good persistence.
