The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is finely spicy, warm, gourmand and offers depth and concentration of fruit. It expresses notes of wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, crushed blueberry, crushed blackcurrant, associated with notes of liquorice, cloves, crushed coriander seeds in the background, as well as a hint of torrefaction (mild coffee, cocoa, toasted hazelnut), with a floral touch (rose petals, peony, dried wild flowers) and herbaceous notes (dried mint, rosemary). The mouth is tight, even slightly closed. It expresses the flavors of wild strawberry (with a touch of dried wild strawberry in the background), morello cherry, wild blueberry, raspberry coulis, as well as notes of dried mint, fresh tobacco, a fine floral bouquet ( dried rose, a touch of lilac) and gourmet notes of sweet spices (licorice, ground cumin, a hint of white pepper). The finish is sapid, powdery, with gourmet notes of cocoa and toasted hazelnut. The tannins are tight, structured and have a fine texture. Beautiful persistence with freshness, good acidity and bitterness as well as gourmande notes of chocolate on the finish.
