The nose is racy, fruity, with a certain depth. We perceive notes of concentrated blackberry, roasted cherry and, more slightly, crushed blackcurrant, associated with toasted touches, tonka bean and an almost infused hint. The palate is nicely fruity, fresh, mineral, balanced, with a tangy frame, juiciness, suppleness, and a stretched tannic frame. It offers verticality, with a very discreetly tight grain. We find notes of pulpy blackberry, bright blackcurrant and, more slightly, roasted cherry, associated with touches of juicy and pulpy small fruits, as well as spices of liquorice stick, cardamom, mocha, and a fine hint of toast. A light almost sappy touch is felt at the end of the mouth, with a beautiful persistence. Tannins are mellow and gourmand. Beautiful freshness.
