The nose is elegant, precise and offers good definition, accuracy, a lovely, frank, fresh, fine textured and lovely grain. There are notes of pulpy raspberry, fleshy/juicy cherry and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of star anise, graphene, lilac, as well as fine hints of cocoa nibs and a discreet hint of small blue fruits. The palate is well-built, supple, precise and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, energy, a fine, restrained side and a lovely, delicate, generous, coating side. Beautiful purity of fruit and brilliance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of boysenberry, small wild red fruits and small notes of licorice, combined with touches of star anise, hints of lilac, iris and brilliant blueberry, as well as fine hints of chocolate, oatmeal, brilliant cherry, sap/pine needle and a discreet hint of salinity. Good length.
