The nose is fruity, elegant, discreetly tight and offers depth, a certain darkness as well as a certain power. The wine wins if it is decanted. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, fleshy cassis and slight raspberry associated with sour cherry, hints of minty liquorice, violet as well as a subtle hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, elegant and it offers a nice definition, a nice pulpy fruit (quite ripe but fresh at the same time), a nice tangy frame, roundness, finesse, gourmandize, volume, fullness as well as a certain tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed strawberry, fleshy / juicy cassis and more slightly violet associated with touches of sour cherry, small bright red fruits, a hint of fresh / juicy plum, chocolate, cornflower as well as a subtle hint of menthol / star anise, toast and toasted almond. Tannins are smooth and elegant. Good length. Nice juiciness and delicacy. A nice pulpy, gourmet and elegant wine. Suave at the end of the palate / persistence.
