(72% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Franc) The nose is fruity, with a little concentration, a certain accuracy, a lovely textural finesse, a fine graphene side and ripe fruit with a floral hint. It reveals notes of crushed/fleshy cassis, bright boysenberry and small notes of small bright fruits, associated with touches of pulpy raspberry, almost roasted-elegant cherry, as well as fine hints of bergamot, infusion and tonka bean. The palate is well-built, with suppleness, freshness, energy and a dynamic, harmonious side at the same time. It expresses notes of juicy-roasted cherry, pulpy/juicy cassis and small notes of bright raspberry, combined with touches of cornflower, small brilliant red fruits, as well as a hint of mineral and a subtle, almost sappy hint, even discreetly of pine needle and tonka bean. Lovely mellowness and good bitterness on the finish/persistence, with a hint of cocoa. Nice freshness, roundness and a nicely fat in finesse on the mid-palate. Suave attack.
