It reveals notes of ripe cassis, crushed wild blackberry and more slightly wild strawberry associated with discreet touches of fleshy redcurrant, toasted, spices as well as very discreet touches of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced, precise, gourmand, aerial and offers a beautiful definition, minerality, finesse as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy redcurrant, crunchy/juicy cassis and fine touches of blackberry, wild strawberry associated with touches of cherry, a very discreet hint of flowers as wel as subtle touches of toasted, caramelized almond, very discreet hints of chocolate and an imperceptible hint of sugared mild tobacco. Tannins are fine and elegant.
