Le Palatin de Château Palais Cardinal 2020, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 

On the nose, richness, subtle intensity, freshness and density. It reveals notes of bright boysenberry, raspberry and hints of blueberry combined with wafts of cherry blossom and nuances of tonka bean and a discreet note of caramelization. On the palate it is juicy, fruity and offers freshness, creaminess, fattiness and minerality. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and hints of fresh/juicy strawberry combined with touches of lilac, black tea, nutmeg and wafts of cardamom in the background. Good length. Bitter but well balanced especially on the finish.
