The nose is fruity and offers richness as well as gourmandise. It reveals notes of blackberry, blueberry and jammy strawberry combined with woody touches as well as a subtle touch of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a small density, fat as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed / fresh blackberry, plum and slight notes of raspberry associated with touches of strawberry as well as subtle touches of liquorice, tobacco, sweet spices and an imperceptible touch of fresh almond. Tannins are a bit firm. Good length.
