Le Masche – Gaiarda 2016 – Canavese Nebbiolo Doc

Beautiful powerful and elegant nose that offers a slight concnetration. There are notes of crushed strawberry, blackberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of badian, almost roasted small fruits, chocolate and a slight minty hint. The mouth is fruity and offers minerality, juiciness, gourmandise, a beautiful definition, velvet as well as precision. In the mouth it expresses notes of crushed strawberry, concentrated blackberry and small notes of quite ripe small red fruits associated with touches of tobacco, nutmeg and a subtle toasted hint. Good length. Sapidity and gourmandise. Beautiful slightly patinated finish. Supple, fresh and discreetly sappy tannins.
