The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a slight creaminess, a beautiful small intensity/ concentration, a beautiful velvet and well-controlled power. There are notes of fresh blueberry, ripe cherry and small notes of aromatic herbs/ sense of place (local biotop) associated with hints of roasted small red fruits as well as slight hints of nutmeg and toasted hazelnut. The mouth is beautifully built, supple, precise and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, racy minerality and a subtle hint of good bitterness. In the mouth it expresses notes of blackberry, crunchy red berries and small notes of fleshy/ juicy small black fruits associated with touches of racy minerality, a good bitterness as well as a subtle hint of smoke, toasted almond and vanilla. Good length. Structuring and relatively polished tannins. Beautiful persistence on the good bitterness.
